I believe your use of color, a perfect balance between the natural reflective color in the water from it's surroundings, and the choice of clothing and props (I mean the color of those items) is a perfect balance. There is no one color that is over powering and it gives the shot such a natural look that were you to remove the waterline, a viewer would not know the model was under water at all.. I think the black and white stockings set the entire scheme off and draw you attention away from the water line. all of your work is amazing and so well thought out that it eludes me.
additionally your choice of models is outstanding. Look at the expression on this girls face, simply angelic, and the way she holds her hands and I know that you are the true magician, snapping photos and then grabbing that perfect one of the lot. This is that one for sure.

When thinking about underwater photography it could come to our mind just animals and some other things that are even a little bit exotic and scary. By combining fine art, a great use of concepts, perfect lighting and beautiful people Elena Kalis revealed something amazing to the observer: an unknown world of magically known elements.

She has been able to melt two separate habitats, Earth and Sea, which on her pictures cohabit as a return to the Origins. It looks like a fairytale (and she knows it well, since many titles she has given to her pitures recall to the world of magic) told us by her pieces of art.

Her wonderful style (and of course this amazing effect which make her subjects look as if they were flying) conveys me the idea that never is impossible, if we are just able to see it with creativity. This is not just a picture, but this is a lifestyle, a philosophy and, of course, one of the artist's masterpieces.
